FREE TENNIS CLINIC This program is designed for individuals with disabilities ages 6 & up to learn the basics of playing tennis. This clinic will be instructed by the Calvert County Tennis Association. Please dress appropriately and bring water or a sports drink. This free clinic will be held on April 21 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Cove Point Park.
TENNIS FREE FOR ALL Join CCPR and local tennis icons, Phil Weiner, Pete Siegert, Melinda Thomas, Chris MacWilliams and members of the Calvert County Tennis Association for a day of fun at Hallowing Point Park. Events include free tennis instruction, demonstrations, giveaways, exhibition matches and lunch. All free! Walk ups are welcome but preregistration is preferred. Information on upcoming tennis events will be available. Prizes given out to the first 40 pre-registered participants. Participants must provide their own racquets. Bring the whole family! This free clinic will be held on May 5 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Hallowing Point Park.
TENNIS LESSONS AT DDP & HPP Join certified teaching professional Melinda Thomas and CCPR for tennis lessons at Dunkirk District Park & Hallowing Point Park. Melinda enjoys working with individuals and groups, sharing her knowledge and experience so that all can enjoy the sport of tennis to its fullest. Goals will be to enhance fundamentals, focus on strategy and create a supportive and fun environment. Each set of lessons lasts for three weeks. Participants are responsible for providing their own racquets and drinks.
